What it actually is.
Macaroni Penguin is a prescription brow treatment. Bimatoprost extends the growth phase of the follicle, so brow hairs grow longer and fuller and more of them are growing at any one time. It's the same active and strength as our Giraffe Lash Booster, supplied for the brow line.
It's for adults aged 18 to 65 with thin, sparse or over-plucked eyebrows, with no eye condition that rules bimatoprost out. Because the brow sits close to the eye, the same eye precautions apply.

Follow the directions in the pack
Your prescriber's directions and the leaflet come first.

Clean, dry brows
Remove make-up. One drop on a fresh applicator.
- 03
Along the brow
Draw through each brow in the direction of growth, on the skin where hair is sparse. Blot any excess and keep it away from the eye.
- 04
Nightly, then patience
Once a night. Change is usually visible from around eight weeks; full effect at twelve to sixteen.

- Itchy or red eyes
- Darkening of the skin along the brow where it's applied, which usually fades after stopping
- Dry or irritated eyes, or a feeling of something in the eye
- Fine hair growth on skin that the product repeatedly touches
- If you use eye drops for glaucoma or raised eye pressure, unless your eye specialist has agreed
- If you have an active eye infection, uveitis or iritis, or have had eye surgery recently
- If you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
- If you are under 18 or over 65
- If you are allergic to bimatoprost
- If the skin of the brow is broken or inflamed
- Bimatoprost can permanently increase brown pigment in the iris if it gets into the eye repeatedly. This is more likely with mixed-colour eyes. Apply only to the skin along the brow and blot any excess.
- Use a fresh sterile applicator for each eye, each night; never reuse one or share the product.
- Remove contact lenses before applying and wait 15 minutes before putting them back.
- If you already use bimatoprost eye drops, using both may reduce the drops' effect on eye pressure — tell your eye specialist.
- Stop and contact us or an optician if you get eye pain, changes in vision, or persistent redness.
- Hair gradually returns to its previous state over weeks to months after stopping.
