02How to verify us
You can confirm our registration on the public General Pharmaceutical Council register at pharmacyregulation.org/registers. Registered pharmacies also display the GPhC internet pharmacy logo, which links to their register entry.
03Who regulates us
- General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) — regulates pharmacies, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Great Britain.
- Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) — regulates medicines and the advertising of medicines in the UK.
- Care Quality Commission / prescriber regulators (GMC, NMC) — where independent prescribers are involved in your care.
04Prescribing standards
Prescription-only medicines are supplied only after a clinical consultation and at the discretion of a registered prescriber, in line with GPhC standards for registered pharmacies and the supply of medicines at a distance. Information about prescription-only medicines on this site supports that consultation — a prescription is never guaranteed, and our prescribers decline treatment where it is not clinically appropriate.
