Collagen in its natural state is a large chain of individual peptides that is impossible for the body to absorb. In order to help your body absorb the collagen, we 'hydrolyse' into smaller molecules that are smaller and easier for your body to absorb!

Skin has less time to adapt when weight comes off quickly, and the amino acids the body uses to build collagen (glycine, proline, hydroxyproline) come from dietary protein, which is harder to hit on a small appetite.

In an 8-week double-blind study, 56 women were given either a) a 2.5 gram daily dose of the collagen used in Zooki collagen products or b) a placebo.
