Formulated with vitamin C, which supports normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin. Astaxanthin is a naturally occurring compound produced by marine algae. Astaxanthin is a naturally occurring compound found in marine algae, and it's what gives salmon, shrimp and flamingos their pink-red colour. It's fat-soluble, which means how it's delivered makes a real difference to how much your body can take up. The liposome is designed to shield the astaxanthin as it travels through the digestive system and carry it into your system more effectively than a standard capsule.
We've seen how powerful this delivery method can be. In a double-blind, randomised human trial on our own liposomal vitamin C, blood levels reached almost four times higher than standard, non-liposomal vitamin C at the same dose, with no reported side effects. That's the same liposomal technology we use to deliver astaxanthin.
