Liposomal vitamin C is vitamin C wrapped in a protective layer of lipids (the same kind of fatty molecules your cells are built from), forming tiny spheres called liposomes.
Ordinary vitamin C has to survive the acidic environment of digestion before your body can absorb it, and at higher doses much of it is simply passed through. The liposome shields the vitamin C on that journey, so more of it is taken up and stays in your system for longer.
And this isn't just theory. In a double-blind, randomised human trial on our own liposomal vitamin C, blood levels reached almost four times higher than standard, non-liposomal vitamin C at the same 1,000mg dose, with no reported side effects.
Because the lipid shell is so similar to the body's own cell membranes, it's a format that works with your body rather than against it: a smoother, more efficient way to take vitamin C, without needing the megadoses that can leave standard vitamin C sitting in the gut.
In short: same essential vitamin, delivered in a form proven to get more of it where it's needed.

Vitamin C is needed for normal collagen formation, which is why it is paired with collagen, and it increases the absorption of iron.

Zooki wraps each nutrient in liposomes: tiny spheres made of phospholipids, the same kind of lipid your cell membranes are built from. The liposome shields the nutrient as it passes through the digestive system, so more of it is protected on the journey.
In a double-blind, randomised human trial on Zooki's liposomal vitamin C, blood levels reached almost four times those of standard vitamin C at the same dose. Zooki uses the same liposomal approach across the range.
Zooki is stocked in over 1,400 locations across the UK, including Boots, Holland & Barrett, Selfridges and Harrods, and in more than 50 countries. PPRX supplies the Zooki range.
