Biotics+ EverydayFour live bacteria strains alongside an everyday nutrient blend, grape seed extract plus vitamins C, D3, K2, E, B12 and zinc. Probiotics are live strains of bacteria that are considered beneficial for the microbiome. When given in adequate amounts, they have been shown to provide health benefits. As well as being helpful themselves, they also metabolise fibre in foods to manufacture short chain fatty acids which themselves provide energy to gut cells, strengthen the gut barrier, regulate metabolism, reduce inflammation, improve heart health, block cholesterol production and act as crucial signals for the gut-brain axis.

Why it matters on a GLP-1

GLP-1 medicines work partly by slowing how quickly the stomach empties, which is also why constipation is one of their most common side effects.

Fibre (25–30g a day) and fluids are the first-line measures. Live-bacteria supplements are a complement to those, not a replacement.
